WELCOME TO EAST END MIDLAND, MICHIGAN
IT'S HAPPENING HERE ...
Downtown Midland's newest development is an urban-style project that will add a contemporary feel to the East End District and contribute to the growth of Midland's downtown area. Work on the project began in the fall of 2012 and is expected to be completed
by early 2014.
MIDLAND'S NEWEST PLACE TO WORK,
PLAY, MOVE, CONNECT
The project plans to integrate natural systems and the built environment by including pedestrian plazas, loft housing, live-work dwellings, unique shops and cafes, outdoor dining and public art. The initial phase of the project includes a four-story, 212,612-square-foot, L-shaped mixed-use building that will accommodate business offices, restaurants, a wellness center and medical space.
A SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
Developers are targeting a LEED Silver rating from the U.S. Green Building Council for the project. Silver is one of the highest levels for sustainability features and requires meeting standards in five environmental categories, including sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality.
PHASE 1 MULTI-USE BUILDING
The building at 215 State Street, scheduled for completion in early 2014, is expected to house retail shops, restaurants, a wellness center, a bank and a health clinic on the ground level and business offices on the upper levels.
